Starlink Switch Review: Get To The Arwing

Real Talk By: KJ

Here’s an experimental concept by Ubisoft.  Character/Spaceship Figures converging for a Major Sci-fi Adventure.  Starlink: Battle for Atlas is the newest Toys-to-Life title, available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.  One version features a Big Event that does separate it from the other two.  Enter Team Fox.  Many crossovers can feel like cheap cash-grabs, equaling sloppy results.  Continue reading “Starlink Switch Review: Get To The Arwing”

For Honor Review: Clash of The Factions

Real Talk By: KJ

For Honor has been one of my most anticipated games since the reveal in 2015.  It combines three things I love into one:  Samurai, Vikings, and Knights.  Part Deadliest Warrior/Bushido Blade, fighters converge on the battlefield.  Mix and match between 12 combatants with 4 assigned to each faction.  Some rely on speed, using quick combos, dodging attacks smoothly if properly timed.  More powerful characters lack in that department, but connecting with hits can be crucial.  I didn’t expect the fighting to be this deep. Watch Dogs Delayed until 2014

watchdogs

We know it’s rough, but think about this, you’ll have more time to enjoy Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag. Take in the Pirate life and stuff. So no Aiden Pearce or Tablet Magic until Spring 2014. Here’s the official message from the Ubiblog.

“Our ambition from the start with Watch Dogs has been to deliver something that embodies what we wanted to see in the next-generation of gaming. It is with this in mind that we’ve made the tough decision to delay the release until spring 2014.

We know a lot of you are probably wondering: Why now? We struggled with whether we would delay the game. But from the beginning, we have adopted the attitude that we will not compromise on quality. As we got closer to release, as all the pieces of the puzzle were falling into place in our last push before completion, it became clear to us that we needed to take the extra time to polish and fine tune each detail so we can deliver a truly memorable and exceptional experience.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you. We thoroughly enjoy and appreciate the way you respond on the web, at events, press conferences and other opportunities we have to interact. Your passion keeps us motivated.

We can’t wait to see you in Chicago next spring. We are confident you’ll love this game as much as we love working on it.”

What are your thoughts on the Watch Dogs Delay?

Is Fighter Within another Fighters Uncaged?

Real Talk By: KJ

Hopefully Ubisoft has learned from the mistakes of ‘Fighters Uncaged’. That is still known as one of the worst Kinect titles around. I’m trying to be optimistic, but this kind of concept needs time, yet ‘Fighter Within’ (ironically announced at Gamescom too) is an Xbox One launch game. Hopefully Ubisoft can take full advantage of the improved Kinect device. If so, We might have a fun party game on our hands. We look forward to seeing full gameplay soon, and throwing perfect kicks and punches at our television sets.
