Yooka-Laylee Review: Retro Duo

Real Talk By: Haggy

Brought to us by Playtonic Games and Team 17, Yooka-Laylee is the spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie.  When I say spiritual successor, it might as well be the direct sequel.  It’s made by many of the same individuals.  Is it basically just a modern remastering/touch-up of old games, or do we have something fresh?

Unleash the ‘Kung Fury’

Kickstarter flick Kung Fury is a 30 minute flick directed by David Sandberg.

Miami’s Kung Fu cop is going back in time, to kill Adolf Hitler. This concept is rooted in 80’s cinema, so expect that special type of presentation. Fans of Far Cry: Blood Dragon should definitely give this a look. The over the top martial arts action, will take place in Miami, Asgard and Germany. Since time travel is a heavy aspect of this project expect to see all sorts of surprises. Help fund this epic short, or wait for the final product to release. For more info, check out the official Kung Fury Page.

Trailer of the Week: Sonic Lost World

Real Talk by: StephO

This Trailer of the Week is the Sonic Lost World reveal trailer! It looks like we’ll be seeing the return of some familiar faces in addition to meeting some new ones. The same goes for game play, which appears to be a combination of the traditional Sonic spin-run-jump moves plus some new sky dive and free run moves that take advantage of the 3D levels. I am definitely excited to see more! Sonic Lost World will be available for WiiU and Nintendo 3DS later this year.

BONUS TRAILER: ARMIKROG.
