Nintendo started to build some steam as well. Titles such as Pikmin 3 and Super Mario 3D World brought much needed killer apps to the console. Next-Gen Arrived in a big way. Titles like ‘Ryse Son of Rome’, and ‘Killzone: Shadowfall’, will battle for graphical supremacy. Grand Theft Auto V – Video Review

GTA Online Title Update

Rockstar is working with Microsoft to release the XB360 patch shortly, PS3 owners can get it now.

This is the list of fixes direct from Rockstar:

  • Fix to address the issue where players were stuck launching a session before the Mall or Nothing race in the online tutorial.
  • Fix to address an issue where bank & cash were deleted incorrectly in some cases.
  • Fix to address incorrect amounts of cash being dropped when the player dies in Missions and Last Team Standing.
  • Fixes an issue where the Character Switch Wheel would disappear after a failed load.
  • Fixes an issue where attempting to enter GTA Online via the Character Switch Wheel caused a black screen.
  • Fixes an issue where temporary characters were overwriting main characters.
  • Fixes an issue where players were losing apartments and the money they spent on them.
  • Fixes an issue that caused Story Mode missions to be missed in some instances.
  • Removes the autosave that occurred when transitioning into GTA Online from within GTAV Story Mode to prevent the chance of Story Mode saves becoming corrupted.
  • Several tweaks to GTA Online including improving overall stability.

Game of the Month: GTA V

Think about this, Grand Theft Auto V made $1 Billion dollars in 3 days time. Wow. Were sure you have the game, along with all your friends. Could it be the Massive map, or just the anticipation of GTA Online. Over at Play Legit we really enjoyed the story mode. The unique characters always standout in the franchise, and it’s no Different in V. We will have a full review, once Rockstar gets their servers together.

Breaking Bad Series Finale

While you can’t please the entire populous, we believe that Breaking Bad’s ending really delivered. It’s hard to talk about the show in detail without spilling the beans, so we’ll just say the performances from Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul were top-notch of course, along with the other cast members. There was great action, suspense, and a feeling of closure. Unfortunately, we have to say goodbye. Did you like the Series Finale?

Money Mayweather Vs El Canelo Fight

The fight as expected, went the distance. Floyd “Money” Mayweather dominated over Saul Alvarez. Precise jabs, and awesome body movement dodging many “El Canelo” punches. Still, Alvarez made it a fun match, but the winner was clear before the judge’s scorecards came in. One a side note, why did Mayweather come to the ring with Justin Bieber?

Jon Jones Epic title defense

A fight that lasted all 5 rounds, saw Jon Jones keep his UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. It didn’t happen without a struggle from the opposition. Alexander Gustafsson gave the champ a busted up face, and really hung in there. At the end of the day, you need to finish a belt holder to take it.  Several fans through social media felt that Gus was robbed. Hopefully there will be a rematch in the future.

Riddick

Riddick’s newest adventure is a nice hybrid. It takes the stealth/horror elements of “Pitch Black” and blends it with the action of “Chronicles”. Acknowledging the last film’s story arch, Riddick rules over the Necromongers. Richard is deceived by Karl Urban’s character ‘Vaako’. He tells Riddick that he will take him to his home world. Instead our anti-hero is brought to a different planet filled with vicious threats.

Trailer of the Month: DBZ Battle of Z

I was a little hyped after watching this trailer. It’s hard no to be. Since im a longtime fan, this is the first game that from a visual standpoint feels like a proper DBZ game. Cooperative gameplay, 8 Player battles, and forming your own Dream Team? You bet. Lets hope Namco Bandai’s servers can contain the madness. Also the characters from the most recent “Battle of Gods” movie will be in it.

Superman x Batman Announcement

It’s the biggest movie announcement in the history of DC. Finally Superman and Batman will team up, or possibly even throw down in this Man of Steel sequel. We can’t wait for its 2015 release date. Vex really broke down this comic book movie unveiling and other great ‘shockers’ from the comic-con event. Check out his pimptastic podcast right here. What villain(s) could make an appearance? Darkseid? Brainiac? The Mad Hatter? Sorry.

Game of The Month: Dynasty Warriors 8

This is proof that a series deep in its years can still can still bring new features and fresh gameplay to the mix. DW brings online coop for the whole campaign, and ambition mode where you build your own empire. Check out KJ’s Video Review for more on this game

Pacific Rim Movie

It was a movie that capitalized on animes, while setting its own trend in America. The film makers want this big monster fighting flick to be duplicated. With the Godzilla reboot currently filming, this isn’t a far cry from reality. The visual effects in rim are superb, and the cast inside the robot suits all do a decent job. The way the Machines and Humans are all linked together is truly a unique concept. Our favorite character aside from the Jaeger Bot: Gypsy Danger, would have to be Ron Perlman. No spoilers here, just go see it.

The Wolverine Movie

Set after the events of X-men 3, Logan goes on a journey in japan to help a long lost buddy. This adventure could be ranked in the top three movies of the series. Take that however you want. This is a hero joint that is different from the pack, and that’s why we like it. Make sure to see the easter egg planted in the credits, it’s a must watch. The Wolverine would have climbed up higher on the list, if scenes hadn’t been removed and altered to accommodate the PG-13 Audience. The man has blades attached to his body Hollywood!

The ultimate gamer treat is here again. Twinkies have begun to hit store shelves. We knew it would only be a matter of time before they would be back. You simply cannot stop the fluffy goodness. The legend from the 1930’s lives on!
