Only two days after Star Wars Day, Lucasfilm Ltd. and Disney Interactive have agreed to a multi-year Star Wars licensing agreement with Electronic Arts. EA studio teams DICE, Visceral, and BioWare will collaborate with Lucasfilm creative teams to create all new games for console, PC, mobile, and tablets. Disney Interactive will also develop casual games for social and online platforms. “The new experiences we create may borrow from films, but the games will be entirely original with all new stories and gameplay,” said EA Labels President Frank Gibeau. Fans can look forward to more information regarding titles in development in the coming months.
