Let’s rank your favorite Halo Games. Since they’re all backwards compatible on Xbox One, we thought it was a good time to ask.
Maybe you prefer the slower gameplay of old, or embraced the new direction the series has gone in. Perhaps a particular story arc left a better impression on you than others. Nostalgia may have kicked in. The first time you jumped into a warthog, captured a flag on Blood Gulch, That’s magical memories. I’m sure there are many stories that can be shared. If only one Halo Game could be picked, which one makes it?

I’d have to go with Halo 2, followed closely by 3. I got an Xbox just for Halo 2 and the new chaotic world of Xbox Live was glorious (if not terrible in ways).
The matchmaking was good enough, and I felt the weapons were generally a good mix that kept things fresh. The maps were also my favorite. Not to mention the story in 2 sticks out to me the most.
