What’s Good This Week? 9/1/17 Sizzle!

This week we are most excited for Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle Release.  Because we are legit, we don’t get the games before they come out to play but Zombie Zac will have the review for you as soon as he plays it through.  So far the online community is hyped and the reviews seem positive which is great news for our friends at Nintendo.

If you’re like me and you need to trade in your ancient Apple phone for a new one you might be in luck.  A phone announcement is expected to happen during their conference on September 12th.  Sources have it that they will be announcing the release of the iPhone 7c as well as the iPhone 8, which will possibly hold a price point of up to $1000. Steve jobs just rolled over in his grave thanks to that announcement!

Right now it’s the end of summer slump as I like to call it as far as games go.  Publishers are all getting ready for the fall and winter when gaming sales sore!  Pro gamers might be looking for a little something extra and thankfully Indie developers are here to rescue us.  Nintendo launched a trailer this week highlighting a ton of beautifully rendered indie Switch titles that leave our mouth watering.
On your Screen: Nintendo proving it is out to be the king of indie games.  Now all we need are some release dates!

When it comes to video games I've played a good many. My first system was a Super Nintendo at the age of 8 and I never looked back. Well, let me take that back, I did look back, to atari, NES, Famicom, and the rest of the systems I had missed. I became a gaming freak of nature, later working as a manager of a video game store, Game Crazy for four years. I spent my entire time there playing every current game that came through the doors and every classic game I had missed. I'm absolutely sure a good portion of my brains memory banks are taken up with the gameplay of thousands of video games and I wouldn't have it any other way. a good video game could take away all the stresses of my day and I have to say that I love being in the minority of female gamers too. It's a lot of fun to enjoy everything from Animal Crossing to Mass Effect and I'm always looking forward to what the future of gaming has in store. BRING ON THE VIRTUAL REALITY! :)
