What’s Good? 8/23

Holy PC!  This week there is enough releasing for PC to warrant you taking off work for the next two years.  For this reason we’ve shortened the list to things we think you’ll actually care about.  Hiking Simulator 2017 wasn’t one of them, but now you know, in case you were solely disappointed.  Also Madden is coming out, again…

In more exciting news this week you can get your hands on the Wolfenstein two pack which includes the previous titles of The New Order and Old Blood.  Many people may have missed this epic series which makes this the perfect opportunity to play an oldie but goodie or gives you a great chance to re-experience this epic series.

If you’re looking for something different check out Thimbleweed on the PS4 or Switch. This point and click adventure game is equipt with some low key pixilated graphics that pack a huge punch when it comes to story.  The developers also throw back to some of their old titles.

If you’re looking toward the future this is the week.  Don’t miss out on the Xbox One X like you did the Switch.  Launch is fast approaching and many retailers are allowing reservations on small quantities of the system this week.  We reserved our own (Because we are legit) and noted that there isn’t much else to reserve along with it.  Many of the previously announced titles have been back dated or were never intended for launch.
You can however look forward to Cuphead which releases September 29
On your Screen: Cuphead has been in the works for a while and has been much anticipated the whole time.  We are really hoping they don’t let us down.  This game has a 1930’s animation vibe mixed with the same volatile nature of animated shows at the time.  As long as it doesn’t disappoint, we are looking forward to a game of epic proportions.

  1. I thought you were kiding when you said Hiking Simulator. One quick search on Youtube reveals you weren’t. Ouch, it looks really bad. At least walking simulators have story. That game only has animals that walk weird.

    1. The whole week was like that for pc. Just totally strange releases. When I was writing the article I originally listed them all but I was like “this is ridiculous!” And changed it. Lol.
