How did my blog start?

I started solo, (loudly) sounding off on Xbox 360.  Messaging my friends about games.  Reviewing titles in quick 30-second bites utilizing our MF rating scale.  People were amused, asking me to bring the fun to YouTube.  Vex provided the music needed to make things pop.  I’d give my thoughts on titles such as Left 4 Dead 2, DJ Hero, and Transformers: War for Cybertron. Had so much fun doing it, and I just didn’t stop.  Made an account on WordPress, and it all started to come together. Childhood friends joined me, and through this site I have gone to places, and played games I may never have experienced.  Fast forward more, I’m blessed to have an outstanding group of teammates, and Fans who visit Play Legit.  We Just had our 7 year anniversary (as of 2/12/17).

Blogging Advice

Stick to your guns on hot topics.  Sometimes a game will release that’s universally loved, and you may disagree. That’s perfectly fine.  Real opinions with facts laid out behind them will outlast any click-bait/generic article.

The other drop of advice, is to come up with some piece of media that can only be found on your site.  In an industry loaded with great websites, do something out of the box (but awesome) to point eyeballs in your direction.  For More on my blogging thoughts and PL origins, check out this interview I did with The Gaming Journalist Gazette.
