Here is a message of sad news from The company:
“After months of development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has come to the regrettable conclusion that we cannot release Mortal Kombat X for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Please know our teams worked diligently to meet the quality standards set by the current-gen versions of the game. We were not able to get the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions to the quality expected of a Mortal Kombat game and are very sorry for not being able to deliver the products as originally planned.”

That is bad news. I have a PS3 and my brother and I were really looking forward to getting this game; not soon but eventually. Now we really need a next gen console.

We are heading towards a path where PS3 and 360 will no longer be used. I just hope the PS4 and Xbox1 price will go down by next year.

I’m happy to read this tbh, the last gen has held back the current one for the last 2 (nearly 3) years! We need more companies to say that their games are just not possible on 360/PS3 to see real progress and innovation!

Most companies seem to be moving away from the last gen systems. The PS3 is mainly getting Vita games from what I can see.
