We’re going back in time. Here is the game that started it all. When players thought they had seen everything the fighting genre had to offer, in-came super smash brothers. A title in which people would win by knocking their opponents off the screen, instead of the standard life bar reduction KO. With each system to follow, the series would continue to sell millions of copies. Many would hold out on buying a Nintendo console until the next version of smash dropped. In other words, the series moves systems! Now, to celebrate the launch of the 3DS version, and the Wii U build on the way, we have two clips. Here are the TV spots from the original:
