CMack here, letting you know that amongst the many things shown in Microsoft’s E3 conference, Sunset Overdrive from Ratchet and Clank creator Insomniac Games probably caught my attention the most. Not a sequel, reboot, or any established property, and a trailer that included a great sense of humor and actual gameplay, they did a lot of things right.

As I hadn’t seen the trailer before this, I was fooled at the start with the soldier, thinking this was another Call of Duty style shooter, and then it took a different turn, and I knew I’d like it. Overall, it looks like a great title to try, with my only criticism being that the character creation mentioned in the trailer not being shown off, while other features about the game do show up in the clip.

Maybe that feature is still in development, but this reviewer at Play Legit are waiting to hear more from this property.
