Web Series ‘Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist’ is Ultimate Fan Service

This Machinima series is out now. We know Hollywood would botch another Street Fighter story if they could. It’s happened twice after all. Thankfully Director and Fight Choreographer Joey Ansah stepped in. His earlier take on Street Fighter was well received. The fan short SF: Legacy did so well, he was given the opportunity to make a full show.

In this season we get to know Master Gouken. How he raised Ryu and Ken as his own. His Brother Gouki’s fall from grace, the transformation into Akuma. Ansah actually plays the role of this famous Villain too. As the episodes progress, Ryu (Mike Moh) and Ken (Christian Howard) learn techniques made famous from the games. Signature moves are performed accurately and look great. Others Nods to this Capcom franchise are sprinkled throughout. An overall solid cast, that matches their game counterparts. You can tell Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist was filmed with the Fans in mind.
