The story revolves around Solid Snake again, But life hit hard for our hero. He’s a victim of accelerated aging. What is the reason for this? We would uncover the mystery as MGS4 rolled on. After the Cigarette Smoking Installation screen was over with, it was time to suit up. Though Snake was now a senior citizen, the gameplay felt new. Controls improved, and an over the shoulder cam was added. It was now easier to get a good look at the battlefield, and shoot enemies without having to use the First Person View. Using Drebin Points, players could customize weapons down to fine detail. One of the really cool abilities was attached to his new suit. The built-in octocamo was designed to get players out of trouble. Gamers would touch a solid surface, then the suit would completely change its color pattern, matching whatever Snake was brushed up against. Some whined about the many Cutscenes, but it was a story that was massive, and had to be resolved. We can safely say that Kojima wrapped up this tale nicely. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots may be the best thing the stealth genre has ever seen.
