Capcom teamed with Tatsunoko Studios to bring us this Wii Exclusive fighter. Both sides put their best characters together. The colorful presentation and smart usage of cell-shading made TVC stand out. Gameplay reminded us of another classic: Marvel vs Capcom 2. Difference being, fights are only 2v2 in here. So you had to be extra careful. Aside from some of Japan’s greatest heroes being in the game, Two enormous characters were playable as well. If chosen, they had more life and power, but no partner. Unlike MVC3, TVC had plenty of modes. You could do Time Attack, Survival, Arcade, Online Play, and a bonus arcade four player shooting game. Many of the characters were new to American gamers, and that’s what made it interesting. A cosmic culture shock. In my opinion the fun factor is up there with MVC2, and a better game than MVC3.
