No More Heroes One, was a great title in its own right. While having some really odd humor, it worked out. The combat system was cool. Players only needed to slash their swords at the end of a combo, instead of swinging it like a mad-man. The goal was to become the number one assassin. Some of the battles still standout to us, this very day. The one part that let us down, was the in-between parts of the game. Travis could drive around the city of Santa Destroy and perform side activities. The problem was that many of the tasks were very boring. ‘Desperate Struggle’ erases everything we didn’t like from the first, and brings us a game that improves on the original in every way. Better humor, an alternate character to play as, and more. The new side missions are mini games that play like Old School NES titles. Basically you’re getting several games in one package. Suda 51 constantly gives gamers unique experiences. Hopefully the Wii U will see a third game.
