Formally a Kinect only adventure, this game has most certainly morphed. What was once an on rails first person title, is now a third person slasher. While it remains a xbox exclusive, Crytek’s IP leaps onto the Xbox One exclusively. What a strong launch title to have. Ryse: Son of Rome has players using brutal combat techniques, as you control one of the greatest warriors ever. Seeing the game in action, I couldn’t help but think about Capcom’s ‘Shadow of Rome’. That title had fluid /brutal combat, but obviously this game takes those ideas to another level. Watch, and enjoy this lengthy gameplay demonstration of Ryse. Jaw is still on the floor. The future is bright for the hardcore gamer.
