In celebration of Mega Man’s 25th Anniversary, Capcom has launched a free game available for download below:

This lets players battle famous street fighter characters with Capcom’s neglected mascot.

“Throughout the year, Capcom also plans to release the side-scrolling classics Mega Man to Mega Man 6 as downloads for Nintendo 3DS. Beginning December 27 with the original Mega Man, these 8-bit classics will be available in a staggered schedule into 2013″  Capcom

Hopefully this company has grander things in store for the Blue bomber this year, and the next. For now this will certainly suffice, but we need a blockbuster style comeback.
