Real Talk By: KJ

A sequel to GRID has been announced. Codemasters releases hit racers constantly, it’s truly the companies niche. Lets see if the trend will continue. In 2013 Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC owners will hit the grid. The game is still using the EGO tech, but it has evolved. Improvements galore. Graphics, vehicle damage, and most importantly the AI. The originators of the ‘rewind’ feature in racing games, look to bring it back in Grid2. Every single aspect of the series is getting overhauled.

“The new TrueFeel Handling System will use real physics to hit a sweetspot between accessibility and simulation and deliver handling that is approachable yet challenging to master. Going behind the wheel of a handpicked selection of automotive icons spanning four decades and three continents” Codemasters

The game is going to be a true globetrotting experience, that will use realistic weather effects and physics. The race tracks will impress the eyes, and provide a challenge for a range of players. Codemasters looks to improve on the customization even more so this time around. Using RaceNet the player can see all kinds of progression within the game. Keeping stats on everything reminding us of the autolog from the Need for Speed series. The competition is getting intense on the track with Forza, Need for speed and many others. Time will tell which racer dominates 2013.
