Hot off the heels of the fighting crossover Street Fighter X Tekken comes “The Devil Within” a live action martial arts fan film from Youtube-based cinematic action group Thousand Pounds.

Thousand Pounds has well over 11 million views in total and features original work,  Naruto based fan films, as well as a previous video game inspired work, “Street Fighter: Beginnings End”, which was only slightly overshadowed by the popular fan-film “Street Fighter Legacy” by Joey Ansah and Owen Trevor.

Thousand Pounds most recent effort was apparently produced by Capcom, who gave approval and oversaw some parts of the production. Also be on the lookout for Capcom veteran Reuben Langdon as Ken, who is a real-life martial arts stunt performer as well the voice of Ken Masters in all Street Fighter material from Street Fighter 4 to current.

In my opinion, this work, despite being short, is very enjoyable and well produced in every aspect, giving fans something worthwhile to see in the world of live action fighting games.
