Real Talk By: Kimulus

Hello everyone this is Kimulus, here yet again with your Friday night fix of wrestling! Now before we get started I would like to give u a very short review of both PPVs of TNA and WWE this month:

WWE Extreme Rules:

This pay per view had to be the most horrid pay per view so far this year.

+creative ending to main event
-ALL MATCHES LACKED PACING

OVERALL: M out of five

TNA LOCKDOWN:
Great pay per view, the matches were all exciting

+Solid matches, the way ppvs are supposed to be
- constant cage matches get boring after awhile.

Overall: MF MF MF MF out of five

THIS MONTHS PPV WINNER: TNA

WWE RAW:
When RAW kicked off the Showmiz kicked RAW off with a promo, after a little trash talking, RAW started right away with the match between Showmiz and the Hart Dynasty.  The fluidity of this match was exceptional I was very surprised by this quality of the match, but knowing the outcome already, it was pretty damn good, and we got ourselves new tag team champions.  After the match Big Show turned on the Miz so I guess that’s the end of their tag team.  After this the only boring match of the night is of course the divas match.  Now after the smackdown team defeated the raw team, we find out that Kelly Kelly gets demoted to Smackdown.  After that we see CM punk vs Evan Bourne… which is a blockbuster match since they have both been in ROH.  The match was very fast paced, very exciting, I cannot tell you how excellent this match was, you just gotta check it out for yourselves.  In the end the masked member of Straight Edge Society came and helped punk to pull off a victory.  In the end, Show gets demoted to Smackdown.  Next we get a major promo from Sheamus, wanting a title shot.  Orton comes out and wants another shot at the title… then of course it turns out to be Orton vs Sheamus for the main event.  Next we have a 5 vs 5 battle royal between RAW and Smackdown superstars. Knowing that RAW didn’t have a draft pick yet, of course I knew RAW was going to win it.  The finish was great and gave Ted Dibiase some credibility.  Now RAW gets 3 draft picks and they ended up getting Morrison, R-Truth, and Edge.

Next we get Jericho vs Christian.  WWE just keeps on pumping great cards because we all know Jericho and Christian are good friends in real life and both have great ring ability.  I have to say Jericho is the BEST wrestler in the WWE.  His match finishes are VERY interesting and always takes you off by surprise and this time a code breaker when Christian came from the top rope.  Very good match.  Next we see that Kofi got demoted to Smackdown… which is a bummer and I am hoping he isn’t going out the door like Benjamin.  Next came Morrison VS Jack Swagger.  The match was a bit slow paced at first because Swagger kept using mat tactics… and I encourage him to use less of that because it gets boring.  Anyways it was good towards the end and Swagger ends up winning the match.  We see that Christian gets demoted to Smackdown as well… it seems that Smackdown always gets the screw job in the WWE draft.  Next came Dolph Ziggler vs Hornswaggle, and Hornswaggle ends up winning by countout.  Dolph ends up beating the crap out of Hornswaggle thereafter, and Jericho gets promoted to RAW and I’d say its about time the best wrestler came back to RAW.  Next the main event came, and Batista inserts himself into the match so the match ends up being a triple threat.  The main event was very good, it was PPV quality.  In the end Edge comes out and spears Orton and Batista wins the match.

…and DA GLOVES ARE OFF

WWE THIS IS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT QUALITY MATCHES AND QUALITY MAIN EVENTS I HAVE TO HAND IT TO WWE, I THOUGHT THEY WERE GOING TO AN ENDLESS DOWNWARD SPIRAL BUT THEY HAVE SHOWN THAT RAWS CAN BE ENTERTAINING ONCE AGAIN.  NOW I GOTTA SAY, EVERYTHING WAS GOOD AND DANDY BUT LOOKING AT THE DRAFT… I MEAN CMON JERICHO AND EDGE TO RAW???? AND ALL SMACKDOWN GOT WAS KOFI??? IS SMACKDOWN GOING TO BECOME THE NEW ECW??? OTHER THAN THAT GREAT JOB WWE, THIS HAD TO BE PERHAPS THE BEST RAW THAT WWE HAS EVER HAD THIS YEAR. I MEAN SOMEONE BODY MUST’VE TOLD EM HOW HORRIBLE THEIR PPV WAS LAST NIGHT.

+many many quality matches
+stellar main event
+great pacing of Raw, especially for a 3 hour one.

-smackdown stardom is going down the drain.
- Batista getting the title shot AGAIN?! How about some new contenders WWE?

TNA IMPACT:

We start off the night in Impact by having the Hulkster come out congratulating RVD.  RVD then shoots at the WWE saying that his happy in TNA.  Then a pissed off AJ styles came and made insults to RVD and we find out Flair is having a match with Abyss….(oh great) and that he is putting his hall of fame ring on the line for Hogan’s hall of fame ring.  Next the womens title was on the line in a triple threat match involving Madison, Angelina Love, and Tara.  In the end Madison rolled up Angelina for the win.  Then Tara attacks Angelina. Next we get Kazarian vs Shannon Moore.  This was a solid match with Kazarian winning the match with a great finisher.  Then we see Samoa Joe come in and destroy Kazarian for no reason. Next it was AJ styles and Sting vs Jeff Jarrett and Jeff Hardy, the match turned into a street fight, pretty much the same repeat as last week… very boring.  Next a major promo segment featuring the pope came up and Kennedy came out to challenge the pope in the next ppv.  After that Kennedy attacks the pope in the injured eye.  Kennedy still has it in his mic skills.  Next we see the xpac has been laid out by team 3-D and proceeds to haave a match between Matt Morgan and Jesse Neal.  During the match Kevin Nash and Scott Hall interfered and the match ended up in DQ.  Matt Morgan then turned on his partner Jesse.  Matt Morgan was about to leave but Jesse called him out, when Morgan returned to the ring thanks to Hulk Hogan, Morgan destroyed Jesse and it was the end of that.  Now we see Eric Bishoff snnouncing the new revolutionary ranking system and tells the fans that they choose who the contender is… kind of like cyber Sunday except it’s a normal routine now.  It can be innovative, we will see where this leads TNA.  To vote goto www.TNAwrestling.com to cast your vote on who you think should get the title shot .  Next came the main event between Abyss and Flair.  I have to say this main event was horrid and Flair can’t wrestle anymore.  I do not know why Flair even bothers but Abyss ends up winning and takes the ring away from Flair.  Hogan then comes out and announces he is giving away Flair’s prized ring.

…and THA GLOVES ARE OFF

NOW TELL ME TNA YOU KNEW WHAT YOU WERE GOIN UP AGAINST, YOU KNEW YOU GUYS HAD TO DO SOMETHING TO COMPETE WITH THE WWE DRAFT AND WHAT DID YOU GUYS DO? NOTHING.  NOTHING WAS INNOVATIVE IN TONIGHTS SHOW.  AND PLEASE ARE YOU KIDDING?! WHY DO WE HAVE ABYSS AND FLAIR FOR THE MAIN EVENT, WHAT KIND OF PIECE OF GARBAGE ARE YOU THROWING AT US TNA AFTER YOU GUYS GIVE US A BLOCKBUSTER MAIN EVENT?!  ARE YOU GUYS SAYING THAT WE SHOULD JUST WATCH YOU ONCE A MONTH?! STEP YOUR GAME UP TNA, BC THE WWE SERIOUSLY WHOOPED YOU THIS WEEK!!

+Kazarian vs Shannon Moore
+Ranking system looks innovative.

-Main event was BORING
-Booking was horrid
-Misuse of wrestlers

Overall: MF
